Reviews
I really could've dropped a star or 2 with this place, giving the fact they ONLY TAKE CASH in the year 2025, very inconvenient, and $9 a slice is absolutely crazy. What gave this place a 5 star was the pizza itself, and the manager (I think) offering to pay our pizza if we were short on change AND giving us a free soda cup! Very kind of him! The workers there were super nice, and i understand it's not their fault that the place only takes cash. The pizza was IMMENSE! I couldn't believe how good the pizza was! We had the pizza with the Burrata cheese on top and oh my god it was amazing. Another complaint I had of this place was they only sell BY THE SLICE!! WHY?!!! I would've been more than happy to buy a whole pie of that Burrata pizza!! I have to give this place 5 stars because the pizza was THAT good and the service was fantastic. If they just fix those minor things like accepting card, and charging for pies as well, this place could be even more incredible than it already is. Overall, amazing pizza! Definitely recommend it and if you're in the area check this one out. Definitely better than st Auggies pizza nearby!
Great pizza, big slices, can add toppings to individual slices. Small Caesar and 1 margharita slice cost $19 something! Very expensive.
Always expect a line out the door! Love pizza time it's a must while you are out walking and shopping on St. George Street. They have a plethora of pizza options, garlic rolls, calzones, potato balls, sodas and a few wines. The pizzas are always fresh, full of flavor and the cheese pull is to die for! The pizzas are sold by the slice and they only take cash (they do have an ATM machine inside if needed) The dinning room is always packed but there's always one or two ladies shuffling people are pins to make sure there's always a clean table available for your party. Pizza time is definitely a MUST
The dining experience was quite enjoyable, particularly due to the freshness and flavor of the pizza. It featured a well-balanced combination of sauce, cheese, and dough, no single element overwhelmed the palate. We also ordered two Italian potato balls; however, there was a noticeable difference in their quality. My potato balls tasted somewhat stale, couldnt tell if it was with the beef filling or the potato itself. In contrast, my friend's potato ball had a much better and noticeably different fresh taste. As it was a Saturday night, there was a line extending outside the pizza place, but it moved at a reasonable speed. Upon entering, customers are required to place their orders promptly, as there is no menu displayed at the front. This can be a bit challenging for first-time visitors, like myself, who may need to quickly assess the display to make a decision, creating a sense of urgency in the ordering process. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to find several empty tables to enjoy our meals comfortably.
This place came up as the best pizza in St. Augustine so it was on our list to try. There was a line going out of the door but they are pretty fast. There are many variations of pizza to choose from and it is hard to decide. I went with a classic Brooklyn style and it was very good. We also ordered the potato ball because I was very curious. It is sausage, with mashed potatoes, deep fried. To me, the highlight was the potato ball. It was delicious and the sauce was great! We ordered salads as well and it looks really good but haven't eaten them yet because it is way too much food! Cash only so be prepared!
